ABSTRAK

 

Profil Konsistensi Representasi dan Konsistensi Ilmiah Siswa SMP pada Konsep Gerak

 

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui informasi tingkat konsistensi representasi dan konsistensi ilmiah diperoleh melalui tes multi representasi, dimana sebelumnya siswa mendapatkan treatment. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pre-eksperimental design dengan desain penelitian one shot case study. Subyek penelitian terdiri satu kelas dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang pada salah satu SMP di Kota Bandung. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes multi representasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan treatment, dan lembar kuesioner (angket). Hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat konsistensi representasi siswa SMP, 14,3% atau 5 siswa berada pada tingkat konsisten. Dan tingkat konsistensi ilmiahnya, 14,3% atau 5 siswa berada pada tingkat konsisten. Pembelajaran dengan treatment yang didalamnya ada cara untuk melatihkan berbagai representasi dengan konsep yang sama mendapat respon positif dari siswa.

ABSTRACT

 

Representation Consistency and Consistency Scientific Profile of Motion Concept in Junior High School Students

 

Research has been conducted to determine the level of consistency of information representation and scientific consistency is obtained through a multi-representation test, where previous students get treatment. The method used was a pre-experimental design methods to the design of one-shot case study research. Study subjects comprised a class of 35 students the number of people at one junior high school in Bandung. Data collection was performed using a test instrument multi representation, observation sheets enforceability of treatment, and the questionnaire. The results obtained by the consistency of representation of students of SMP, 14.3% or 5 students are at a consistent level. And scientific consistency level, 14.3% or 5 students are at a consistent level. Learning to treatment in which there is a way to melatihkan various representations with the same concept received a positive response from students.
